Pattie Vargas has successfully managed teams of business and technology professionals by focusing on developing strong interpersonal skills and relationships. She inspires peak performance and outstanding achievements, within an organization's constraints related to budget, time and resources. Her strong background in business management and project management skills brings practical experience to organizations on how to challenge and motivate staff and develop self-motivated, high-performing work teams.

Pattie has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, a Master's Degree in Organizational Management, PMP certification from Project Management Institute, and certification in Total Quality Management from UCSD. She is a member of the San Diego chapter of PMI, and facilitates the "Softskills" Breakfast Series, as well as a member of the San Diego chapter of ASTD, where she leads a Leadership Special Interest Group. She is currently the Vice-President of the Escondido Chapter of American Business Women’s Association. Pattie has been published in ISSIG Bits, a PMI publication specific to Information Technology projects, and in ASTD Training Trends.

The Vargas Group helps organizations build strong leaders with an emphasis on servanthood, as well as increase effectiveness by aligning individual and organizational goals. Pattie teaches courses in Leadership, Management, Team Building and Organizational Communication for professional and non-profit organizations, universities and businesses. She is also an independent consultant with the Alliance for Organizational Excellence, LLC.
